2 egg Whites  Beaten stiff

 

2 1/2 cups of sugar

1/2 cup Light karo

1/2 cup HOT water

Pinch of salt

 

1 tsp. Vanilla

 

Beat egg white and set aside, combine next four ingredients and boil until you can see a thread spin (when holding up spoon and letting the mixture run back down into the pan). Gradually pour hot mixture into egg whites, add vanilla and beat until thick and grainy texture like salt to your tough. Add pecans if you like and drop on wax paper. Makes about 60 pieces
