2 Pecan Pies

4 eggs

 

1 cup of sugar

 

1 cup of Karo syrup (light)

 

1 Stick margarine

 

2 cups chopped pecans

 

½ teaspoon salt

 

2 teaspoons vanilla

 

Beat eggs slightly add sugar, syrup, nuts, vanilla, salt and margarine. Put into unbaked pie shell and bake for 50 minutes in oven at 325. The pecans will float and form a crust at the top if bake slowly.

 

Note: Cream sugar, margarine then add syrup and salt beat well. Beat in eggs one at a time then add pecans.
