Quick Ham and White Bean Soup

About 1 pound of sliced ham (about ¼ inch thick)

 

4 cans of Northern Beans

 

1 onion finely chopped

 

3 carrots finely chopped

 

1 table spoon minced garlic

 

½ stick of butter

 

1 table spoon bacon grease

 

salt

 

pepper

 

 

In big stock pot sauté garlic, onions and carrots add 3 cans of beans. Mash the 4th can of beans with fork, blender or food processor and pot. While you are sautéing your veggies pan fry your ham. When your ham is done cut into small chunks and add to pot. Salt and pepper to taste then bring all to heat and server.

 

Note: This is very good and hearty and only takes about 20 to 30 minutes to fix.!
